Cohiba Corona Especial Reserva 2003

The wrapper is fine and shiny, color is a dark colorado.... looks nice.... Intensive roast aromas come to the nose: coffee, cacao... some hints of hay, but they are really decent.

Ok, let's fire it up.... the aromas are exploding with the first puff at the palate.. it's amazing. The cigar is present from the very beginning... fresh roasted coffee, some herbal notes like a vintage cigar, very creamy and smooth...

In the second third the herbal flavor is still there, dark chocolate is coming up.... a bit later a taste shows up which reminds me of a fresh grilled steak... really amazing....

The last third is dominated by woody aromas: Sandal, cedar, oak... very complex.... and from time to time some tar and strong Espresso....

In the end it was a perfect smoke with a total smoking time of app. 105 minutes... it was hard to put the cigar away to the ashtray...
