Ramon Allones Estupendo ER Asia Pacific 2006

Made of a fine and matt colorado-coloured wrapper, firmly rolled and without any pressing.... my first Estupendo which I will allow to rise in smoke. A few times turning above the flame and the glow ring is there already. Cutting.... taking the first puffs.... lean back and enjoy. Creamy smoke climbs up, this promises to become a pleasant smoke.

The first third is stamped by an interplay between honey and tobacco, always well balanced that the sweetness does not become meddlesome. In the course tannin notes came up, reminded me of a strong red wine.....

In the second third the honey-sweet is replaced by dark chocolate, it becomes a little harsher, but by no means disagreeable. The tobacco mark becomes stronger, woody taste joins to it...

The last third becomes strong, dominated by tobacco, leather and roasted flavors. Wow, brilliant combination which holds the tension of flavor up to the end.

A great cigar with a perfect draw for the whole duration of the smoke which was app. 100 minutes.
