Laphroaig 25 yo.

Nose: Some fresh smoke and soft spices, decent sweetness, upcoming smell of antiseptic, very medicinal

Taste: Surprisingly weak (shit, this one only 40 %), leather, some iodine, hints of peat in the background, sweetness of dried fruits, charcoal

Taste with water: It opens up and the peat is gettin very dominant... some kinda sweet peatyness

Aftertaste: Pepper and charcoal, candied fruits, medicinal, long and complex...

  1. I quite like the laphroaig I have never tried the 25 but I have sought it out. Thanks for the post Heiko.
