A beautiful day... and I went out to make a tour to the Hohe Hirschberg... a place with a beautiful view on the Saentis region on one hand and the Rhine valley on the other hand...
I started my tour in Gais... no people on the streets but a few cats crossing my way...

After leaving the village and going uphill through the forrest a great view welcomed me...really impressing... the whole mountain chain of the Saentis is in front of me...

After a while I reached the guesthouse "Hoher Hirschberg". Normally the terrace here would be a great place for something to eat, smoke and enjoy the view but it was a bit windy... and this wind was too chilly to enjoy it... so I continued my walk...

A reached a nice spot in the forrest - no wind, some tree stumps where you could take a seat. The perfect place to pour in a glass of whisky, an Ardbeg Uigeadail from 2003 in this case, and to fire up a Romeo y Julieta Cazadores from 1996. Awesome... sitting somewhere in the forrest, drinking a great Single Malt in combination with a really fantastic cigar while the birds were twittering in the trees... what else to ask for...
