Time flies... it´s eleven years ago that we married, it´s called steel wedding... and back in 2001 it was a nice and sunny day like yesterday.
Tanja´d to work and so I went to watch some old steel... the drive-through of the Bodensee Klassik Oldtimer Ralley which passed our region this morning... here are some impressions.
Back at home it´s time for something to enjoy... for this special day I took a special cigar and a special drink... and I was sure they´d go together well. Cohiba 1966 EL 2011 and Westvleteren XII. A cigar which´s called one of the world´s best cigars on one hand and one of the world´s best beers on the other hand... no better combo to imagine.
Due to the mild weather I could make it an outdoor smoke on the balcony... as I expected this pairing was perfect... the malty and sweet notes of the beer where in a balance with the strong and earthy aromas of the cigar... if you´ve the chance to try that combo: do it!

The smoke and the beer made me feel hungry and to complete this good treatment I grilled a nice burger for lunch using some Wasabi Gouda which matched excellent...

The rest of the day´s relaxing... no more grilling or cooking... we´d others which did the work for dinner...
