Montecristo No. 4 Reserva

Perfect look, first-class quality... a wonderful cigar with a dark, fine and matt wrapper. The cigar has no pressing and is rolled perfect.

It radiates a very pleasent and explicit smell of leather which cannot be found with the first draws after lighting up the cigar. Powerful flavors of tobacco and tannin dominate the first third.

During the second third leathery flavors came up again (as recognized when the cigar was cold), it will be accompanied by the taste of dark bitter chocolate.

The draw is perfect over the whole time, the smoke is creamy and fills up the mouth. The burn is perfect, ruler-straight and the dark-grey ash is very stable.

The cigar shows a very pleasent development over the smoking time of nearly 70 minutes and never gets bitter or biting.

On the whole it's an absolutely great cigar, unfortunately with a high price.... thanks again to the guy who gifted it to me!
