Plankboxed Beef Nachos

Plankboxed nachos... easy to make and damn tasty... and you don't need much... just a few ingredients... in this case I took:
  • regular nachos
  • beef
  • onion
  • chilli peppers
  • shredded cheese
  • Onion Bomb seasoning

The ingredients can vary... you can use chicken or pork... also some peppers or any stuff you like... just feel free... it's BBQ!

In the first step I season the meat - that I cut in thin stripes before - with the Onion Bomb seansoning, put it in the pan, mix it with the cut chilli peppers and roast it...

In the meantime cover the bottom of your water-soaked plankbox with a layer of nachos... then put the beef on it, some cut onions... then the shredded cheese... repeat this until the box is full... in my case it were two layers... in the end I dripped some hot tabasco sauce over the top layer of cheese...

Put it on the grill in indirect heat with a temperature of app. 250 °C / 480 F for about 15 minutes... remove it when the cheese is melted and starts to get crispy....

It goes very well with a chilly dark beer... enjoy it...
