11/03 - Day of (Green) Tea

Originally I planned to meet with another friend from Canada but due to some health issues he´d to postpone his trip... which gave us the chance to pay a visit to Moses in Dornbirn where the "Day of tea" took place today...

I like to drink some tea especially during the colder time of the year, so I thought it could be interesting to try some different ones and get some more informations from the specialists...

cigar, cigars, cigar's, blog, blogger, tasted, tasting, tastings, tasty, smoke, smoked, smoking, smokes, smoker, vaduz, kreuzlingen, schweiz, switzerland, suiza, swiss, suisse, whisky, whiskys, whiskies, whiskey, whiskeys, blind tasting, experiment, experiments, review, reviews, reviewing, eldondo, balgach, portmann, portmanns, portmann's, lonsdale, lonsdales, robusto, robustos, corona, coronas, box, humidor, humidors, boxes, tobacco, tabak, zigarre, zigarren, rauchen, verkostung, heiko, blumentritt, heiko blumentritt, tea, moses, dornbirn

Some teas were ready all the time for comsumption and some were prepared from time to time with some kinda ceremony to be served to the guests... looks a bit different than the way I do it at home... in this case Stefanie, who´s a certified tea sommeliere, is preparing it.

The following series of pictures show the way how to prepare and serve the so called Matcha, a green tea which´s grind to powder. The process to get the powder is very lavishly, which makes this tea really expensive...
