Por Larranaga Belicosos ER Asia Pacific 2008

A perfectly rolled cigar, colorado-colored and matt with a decent smell of wood, honey and tobacco. Gently setting it on fire, clipping the head and taking the first draw...

Wood. That's the first impression. Falling back a bit after the first puffs and making some room for creamy notes and caramel... a very smooth smoke during the first third.

It's a medium bodied smoke so far... during the second third the sweetness of the caramel fades a way, nutty aromas come up, creamy and woody notes are still present. Some spices appear every now and then...

The last third, it's definitely a full bodied smoke now...The nutty flavors fade away. Cream, wood and caramel are still present... joined by earth and leather... A very complex aroma which hits the palate now... and still creamy, no harshness...

The smoking time was about 90 minutes with an always perfect draw and burn... a great cigar which'll be a classic in a few years for sure...
