Trinidad Short Robusto T EL 2010

The wrapper is surprisingly smooth and fine for an EL in general with a dark brown color, the construction looks perfect. The smell is dominated by woody notes added by some kind of sour aromas I didn't have before.

Firing, cutting, taking the first puffs. An mixture of coffee, wood and some pepper with a decent hint of honey sweetness in the background. That's the taste which brings you through the first half of the cigar (I cannot talk about thirds when smoking a cigar which's that short), losing some of the sweetness and getting more notes of dark chocolate.

The second half has no more sweetness, still some pepper and leather notes, definitely more on the strong side. Even though it seems that there are not so many different flavors, the cigar itself seems really complex.

The smoking time was approx. 1 hour, draw and burn were perfect as for all other Trinidads I had before.
