01/12 - Above the clouds and the fog

Today I took a day off from work... the forecast said that there'll be another crappy day with fog in the valleys... but perfect weather above a level of app. 800 m / 2600 ft. So I took my car for a 15 minutes ride to reach the small village of Oberegg (maybe you remember the report about the cattle menagerie, which was in the same village) and started a roundtrip of app. 3.5 hours from there.

The village itself was still within the fog but after a few more minutes of walking the sun broke through it.

The fog is lifting

I was the only taking this way... I like it to enjoy the silence of the nature, the only thing you hear is the crunching sound of the snow you walk on...

The view was amazing, all the valleys are filled with fog and clouds... the mountains were totally clear, breathtaking...

Fantastic view
