Back to normal

I made very good progress over the last weeks and in the meantime I reached the point where I could get rid off my crutches, the x-ray test showed that the bones are healed like they should: the fibula´s healed completely, the tibia still has a gap left, but that´s normal and´ll heal soon. Also the split-off of the Volkmann´s triangle healed well which caused some real pain for a while...

I´m happy that I managed to get back on my feet quicker than expected even though there´s still a lot of work ahead of me. I definitely have to rebuild the muscles which´ve been reduced over the last two months.

This means: training on the treadmill and a lot of walking. Right now my daily stint is 1 hour on the treadmill and another hour of walking... I´m sure that I´ll increase that within the next weeks...
