Montecristo Edmundo 2006

Silky and fine colorado-colored wrapper, cold smell of leather and earthiness...

After lighting up it started with woodiness underlaid by a decent sweetness, harmonic roasted aromas.... at the end of the first third there was a taste reminding me of pickled cucumber... very strange, never had this experience bevor....

The second third is dominated by leathery and earthy notes, until this point a good smoke.

During the last third the taste becomes outa the sudden very dry: dry wood, sawdust and some kinda unpleasent bitterness.

The ash was very firm over the whole smoking time, the draw always perfect. The smoking time was 1.5 hours.
