Laphroaig Burger

I like Single Malts... especially the peaty ones... and I like a good burger. So why not bringing those two things together. I used whisky from time to time for cooking but not this Quarter Cask, let's see how it comes out...

I took my regular burger recipe and added a good splash of Laphroaig Quarter Cask to the beef before I shaped the paddies. For the topping I added another splash to the sautéed onions to give it a peaty twist too... the cheese was a mixture of a camembert and some shredded Appenzeller cheese (with some additional mayonnaise).

The final product had a great peaty flavor of the whisky, it was really awesome!
